Jobsite Spotlight: Generator Set at a Local Fire Station

Last week our crew was on-site at one of Owensboro’s fire stations to set a new generator, a critical piece of equipment that helps ensure the facility stays powered when it matters most.

Generator placements require precision. There’s no room for drifting loads or second attempts, especially around an active municipal building. To keep the lift balanced and controlled from pick to placement, we utilized our tele-bar, giving us the stability needed to guide the unit smoothly into position. Kirby handled the lift with steady hands, keeping communication tight and movements controlled every step of the way. From boom positioning to final placement, everything was lined out before the hook ever went up.
